Nicolas Fève is a French-born photographer living in Ireland. His photographic practice focuses on the relationship between text and image, and plays with the idea of the photograph as page.  His work has been exhibited in the William Frank Gallery, Dublin; the Galway City Museum (Tulca Festival of Visual Arts); the Clifden Arts Festival; Dublin Castle, the Alliance française, Dublin; NUI Galway; and as part of the touring exhibition ‘Yeats and the West’. His photographs have also been used on book covers, CD covers, by the Bibliothèque Mazarine, Paris, and by University College Dublin.

His work to date focuses on Ireland (Dublin and Connemara), the USA (Boston, LA, San Francisco, Monument Valley) and France (partout!)

His first book is a collaborative project with Tim Robinson entitled Connemara and Elsewhere (Dublin, Royal Irish Academy, 2015).
